Y’all. This is the last Currently EVER. If it was April, I would think that this was an April Fool’s joke. But it’s May, so I don’t think that. I love the Currently link up. I always find new blogs to follow, and love connecting with other teachers. I understand that it’s a lot to manage, and everyone grows and moves on, but it’s definitely bittersweet. Without anymore weeping, here’s my last May Currently.
This weekend, Mr. Spouse was out of town at a bachelor party and I was at home with the twinnies and pup. On Saturday, we went to Michael’s to get the supplies for our Mother’s Day craft, and I impulsively bought a planner. I’ve been scouring the interwebs for a planner for like 6 weeks. I can’t really explain why, but I’ve always loved planners that follow the academic year the most. I saw this great planner that I really liked and it was an 18 month planner that was black and white; the point of it was doodling the edges and coloring it in, but it was SO BIG I felt like the functionality was limited. Like I couldn’t really take it with me anywhere, so even though it was $13 I had to leave it. I ended up getting this little lovely and I’m pretty sure we’re in love. It’s an 18 month planner, and I thought I wanted the 8.5×11 size, but when I saw it in real life it was just too big. Again, I felt the functionality was limited, so I got the next size smaller and I’m super jazzed about it. I already went through and added my color chart to the front. #dontmindmyocd But now I can’t wait until July to start using it!
Okay, y’all! I hope you have a great Monday! The end of the year is in sight! xoxo, Rachel
